Plain-language summary

Account holders and guests can request deletion or anonymisation of eligible information through the verified support route. DigitalSpur does not currently offer Google or Facebook sign-in.

Request with an account

Account deletion is support-assisted. Email support@digitalspur.co.zw from the verified account email with the subject “Account deletion request”.

DigitalSpur must verify the request before changing protected account data. Download any receipts or tickets you still need and review open payment, fulfilment, refund, or support states first.

Request without an account

A guest may email support@digitalspur.co.zw with the subject “Data deletion request”, the contact used with DigitalSpur, and a masked transaction reference where relevant.

Do not include wallet PINs, passwords, card information, one-time codes, ticket codes, access tokens, or complete electricity token values. A privacy-safe verification method is required before protected information is disclosed or changed.

Google and Facebook sign-in

DigitalSpur does not currently provide Google or Facebook sign-in, so the current customer product creates no social-provider account link to revoke or delete.

If social sign-in is introduced later, this page and the privacy and cookie notices will explain its controls, data use, revocation, and deletion behaviour before those buttons appear.

What may be deleted or anonymised

Eligible profile fields, optional preferences, unused saved references, and contact data not needed for an active or retained obligation may be deleted or anonymised after identity verification and review.

Account deletion revokes active sessions and access grants where applicable.

What may be retained

Transaction, payment, fulfilment, receipt, consent, dispute, fraud-prevention, security, reconciliation, and audit records may need to remain or be de-identified for legal, financial, security, and operational-integrity reasons.

Deletion does not reverse a completed purchase, invalidate an issued ticket, alter an external service record, or erase financial and audit records that must lawfully remain.

Verification, confirmation, and escalation

DigitalSpur verifies requests before disclosing, deleting, or anonymising protected data. If the contact cannot be verified, support may request a privacy-safe alternative.

Support confirms receipt of a request, provides progress updates, and explains any available escalation step.

Questions about this policy?

Email support@digitalspur.co.zw. Do not include passwords, wallet PINs, card data, one-time codes, ticket codes, access tokens, or complete token values.
